Topics discussed typically include how to manage unwanted behaviors; diet management; school-related services including IEP’s, how to get school-based therapies, high school transition programs; how to obtain Regional Center services; conservatorship; family and special needs trusts; how to obtain In-Home Supportive Services. Group 3: Adulthood (Ages 18+) Sessions | 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. PST | Click to Register This group is for families who have an adult diagnosed with PWS. Topics discussed typically include how to manage unwanted behaviors; family and special needs trusts, how to obtain SSI benefits; conservatorship; employment and day programs; and residential placement options and training.
